Mkhitaryan’s baby tackles at Inter Milan: a record to aim for.
Manchester United's Alexis Sanchez has been praised by his former club Inter Milan after he made a stunning goal against them in the Europa League.
The Chilean, who joined Manchester United from Barcelona last summer, scored a spectacular goal that saw him tackle the ball with both hands and send it flying through the net.
Inter Milan were playing in front of their home fans when they faced off against Manchester United on Thursday night.
In the 25th minute of the game, Sanchez was sent down the left wing and received a pass from Wayne Rooney. He then played a one-two with Jesse Lingard before sending a shot towards the top corner of the net.
However,Saudi Pro League Focus Inter Milan defender Mario Ruiu managed to block the shot, but it ricocheted off the post and into the back of the net.
Sanchez was delighted with the goal and celebrated with his team-mates as they ran onto the pitch to celebrate the win.
Inter Milan manager Luciano Spalletti said afterwards that he was impressed with Sanchez's performance and praised him for his ability to score goals from difficult positions.
"Alexis is a player who can play anywhere," Spalletti said. "He is a great finisher and I am sure he will continue to score goals for us."
Despite the victory, Sanchez will now have to face the challenge of keeping up his form if he wants to earn himself more game time at Old Trafford.
