Karim Benzema: latest injury update at Al Hilal
Karim Benzema, the French forward for Al Hilal, has been injured in his first match with the club after returning from injury.
The 29-year-old striker made his debut on Wednesday night and scored the only goal as Al Hilal defeated Al Ittihad 1-0 in Saudi Arabia. Benzema's return to action comes after a lengthy injury layoff, which saw him miss most of last season. He is currently training with the team and will need further assessment before being able to play again.
