Stefan Mitrović injury update at AS Monaco.

Stefan Mitrović, the Serbian forward who has been linked with a move to French club Monaco, is undergoing surgery on his right knee after suffering a serious ankle ligament tear in training.

The injury comes as a shock for the young striker and his family, who were delighted when he was signed by Monaco in June 2017. However, it has caused concern for fans and teammates alike.

Mitrović's recovery time will be lengthy, but the club is hopeful that he will be able to return to action soon. The team have already made some changes to their squad this summer,Serie A Stadium including signing new defenders such as Adrien Rabiot and Antoine Griezmann.

It remains to be seen how long Mitrović will be out, but it is clear that he is unlikely to be back for another season at the top level. For fans and teammates alike, his departure is a loss to the club, but it is also a positive step towards rebuilding the team.

Injuries can be tough to overcome, but with hard work and dedication from all involved, they can often be overcome. It is hoped that Mitrović will be able to come back stronger and faster than ever before.
